Spotting when stock markets have bottomed

Stock markets are not completely predictable. This means that while many stock brokers would like you to believe that they can accurately predict how particular stock markets are likely to run, what they really deliver is an educated estimate. This often leads people to mistrust stock brokers, and even stops some people from choosing a stock broker altogether. Unfortunately, while stock brokers may not pick how stock markets will be affected by certain events every single time, an untrained amateur is far less likely to.

One of the biggest concerns about the Australian stock market and the New York stock market right now is when the stock markets will bottom out. Due to various financial catastrophes lately, there is uncertainty about when the stock markets will recover. Experts do not agree on this, so it is not advisable for a casual investor to make this decision. If you do not have the training to understand the kinds of activity on stock markets that leads to a resurge of growth, then knowing how much you can afford to lose before it becomes a necessity to sell your investments can be good to know.
