A change in stock markets toward possible growth
Wednesday October 15, 2008
Much speculation about stock markets recently has people declaring the worst to be over and a change toward growth, but this is never a sure thing. Considering how traders have responded to even the slightest of bad news in recent months, progress made in the next few weeks might easily be demolished by a mass panic in a bad day on the stock markets.
Nevertheless, the shift of traders from selling shares to buying shares again has been felt, with many stock markets feeling growth again. The world has been looking to the New York stock exchange lately to predict what will happen to their own stock markets, and the Australian stock exchange has regularly followed declines in the New York stock exchange. Growth in this stock market has also seemingly been reflected in other stock markets, however, so with the bailout package and promised regulations for financial sectors on the way in America, it will be interesting to see if the world can successfully avert a recession.
